Atalanta dominated many of the Inter-House events this term, winning the Rounders, Athletics and Tennis events outright and sharing the honours in the Swimming with Minerva.  This term the Tidiness cup was won by Diana House, the Dragon Shield went to Minerva House and the Inter House Art competition was won by Diana House.

Certificates were awarded to the following students for having earned the most Dragons for their House over the course of the year:

The theme for the Inter-House Art competition this year was "Carnival". As you can see from the super work below the House teams excelled themselves.

Good Bye and Good Luck

Good bye to Mrs Peters Weem, tutor in Atalanta House, who is leaving St. George's and taking up another post in Africa. Good bye also to Mr Andy Britnell, tutor in Minerva House, who is returning to the UK and to Miss Daya Summers, who is taking up a new post in Switzerland.  Good bye also to Mrs Solari, matron, who is also leaving St. George's to take up a new position in Switzerland.

Finally, good bye to Miss Hickey, Head of Minerva House and teacher of Economics, Business Studies and I.T. who is leaving St. George's after 12 years.  Miss Hickey or Mrs Helleskov Jybaek is returning to Ireland to join her new husband there.
