Year 5 set off on an adventure through the woods of St. Legier.   They had to overcome obstacles relying on each other for assistance.  This gave them a little taster of working as a mountaineering team. If anyone would care to visit the river bank they will find a collections of ‘chortons’ constructed by the year team. 

The afternoon gave the children an opportunity to meet Yves Lambert who recounted his personal experiences from climbing Mount Everest.  The Year 5 children took great pleasure interviewing him and finding out some of the ‘nitty gritty’ details living and climbing on Everest.  Many thanks from the teachers and children  to Yves Lambert.
