A record number of 41 St George’s students took part in the AGIS football championships in Bern. 5 teams entered and played like demons in the stifling heat.  Category 6 girls team (in their first tournament ever!) won gold with their 4 wins and a draw.  Isla was the top goal scorer of the day with 8.  Category 6 boys proved that their hard work and training had paid off with their 5^th position out of 12 teams at the end of the day.  Category 5 boys and girls teams respectively played for 3^rd /4^th position.  Both were nail biting matches and the teams fought valiantly finishing the day in a more than credible 4^th position.  Well done to all the children that took part and thanks to all the parents who supported us.
