| Miss Liddy and Miss Coley invited Mr Yves Lambert on the 16th of June to come to the school to talk about his expedition to climb Mount Everest in 2002. Yves Lambert was part of the Swiss team, who in 2002 climbed Everest as a tribute to the Swiss team of 1952 who failed in their historic attempt. Yves' father was one of the 1952 team. The children were treated to a very interesting talk and the chance to view first-hand some of the equipment needed for the ascent. |
