Year 6 say good-bye to the JD

Goodbye to Staff

We also said goodbye to some JD staff at the Leavers' Assembly.  We wish our gap girl Jenni all the best with her studies at university next year and wish Mrs Barbara Dickinson, our pre-reception teacher, all the best for her return to the UK.  A fond farewell also to Mrs Jackie Cunningham who is leaving to join her husband on a posting in Portugal.

A presentation of the House Points Shield was made at the Leavers' Assembly.  This time it was Atalanta House who were victorious and a very pleased Sophie, Edward and Devan pictured below, were happy to collect the shield.

Two other presentations took place at the Leavers' Assembly. Firstly,  prizes were awarded to the Balloon Launch winners.  Josie (centre) came first.  Her balloon went all the way to Algeria!  Chiara (right) was second and Alexandra (left) was 3rd, both balloons finding their way to different places in the South of France.

Lastly, prizes were awarded for the winners of the "Design a Cover for the Year Book " competition.  Pictured below are this year's winner Mack and runners-up Carine and Francesca.
