| On Friday the
25th of July, the entire staff of St. George's, teaching, administrative and domestic held a party to celebrate the 28 years of
loyal service that Mrs Gaye Zund has given to St. George's.
There is no denying that Mrs Zund has been an excellent leader. In doing her job she has managed to marry together some very strange bedfellows. She has managed to do what might sometimes seem like the impossible, coupling together a strong sense of leadership with scope for staff to use their own initiative, an excellent sense of humour with great organisation skills, a genuine interest in and caring for all her staff with a subtle diplomacy. It is with great fondness that we will remember her many years at St. George's and hope that she too will carry many happy memories of these years and particularly this night away with her. The staff would like to wish Mrs Zund and her husband Jean-Pierre every happiness in this next stage of her life. As for Caresse, no dog was better at hoovering up break time crumbs than you, your subtle licks on the back of the knee and barking at the gardeners will be missed too. Here are a few snaps from
