Burier

The annual concert for the old people of the Burier Retirement home took place on Friday the 14th of May.  After a welcome by Madame Zund, our visitors enjoyed a scrumptious afternoon tea and then a short concert.

The first performer was Brad Stark on the trombone performing "Boogie for Bone" next several sketches in French by students from Years 7 to 9, followed by Sara Al Tunisi and Patrick Scully who sang "Music of the Night".

Finally Steven Thomas playing "La Tarantelle" on the piano and the school choir singing "May it Be" from Lord of the Rings.

After the concert there was plenty of time for a chat with our guests and to share photos of last year's Burier afternoon.  Thanks to Miss Bolton, Madame Chambovey will be able to provide our guests with a lovely photo album full of happy memories from this year's event.

Thanks especially to the Music and French Departments for providing the entertainment for this lovely event.
