Here is a brief résumé of the Summer Term's events. We began the term with our traditional balloon launch. It was a very enjoyable afternoon and the sum of 300 chf was raised for our chosen charities.
| In May we welcomed the old people from the Burier Retirement Home. The
Burier residents gave us a photo album of their trip to Basel which was a nice
souvenir for our students who had accompanied them on this trip. Thank you to everyone
who made the day such a pleasant one and to Mr Ferrari, aged 102, the oldest
resident of the home. We look forward to seeing him and all our other guests again
next year. |

will be donated to the El Shaddai Children's Home in India. Mrs Hellier, who
used to work in the JD but who now lives in Goa, proposed this charity. | |
