The Prizegiving and Graduation Ceremony for the academic year
2002-2003 was held on Thursday the 26th of June. The opening address was given
by guest speaker, Grant Simmer, a member of the Alinghi Challenge Design Team
for the 2003 America's Cup race.
Before achieving fame with Alinghi, Mr Simmer was well-known to staff and
students alike at St George's as both his daughters, Phoebe and Madeline, had
attended the school in the past.
Mr Simmer's speech was truly inspirational and will, I am sure, inspire our graduates towards achieving their goals in the future.
For those of you who were not present on this memorable occasion, we hope you enjoy this pictorial recap.
