On June 23 2003 Year 8, together with Miss Bolton and Mr.Jupp, walked from La Forclaz up the the valley close to the snout of the Trient Glacier. They were able to see how the glacier had formed the valley and changed the landscape. On the return trip they stopped off at the recently reopened Gorge du Trient with its raised wooden walkway.
