Each term we have a special assembly to say goodbye to pupils moving on and in the Summer Term we also say cheerio to Year 6 as they leave the JD to join the Senior School.
To mark this occasion, Year 6 entertain us with a play produced by themselves and this year they followed in the footsteps of Will Shakespeare, having studied some of his work during the year. They provided us with a first class performance and lots of laughs.
The classes of Mrs Peters and Mrs Cunningham who are studying English as a Foreign Language, gave us a lovely rendition of "My Favourite Things" and the school choir joined in on the occasion by singing a song of their own.
To complete this happy occasion, parents were thanked for their huge contribution to the school and prizes were distributed to the Year 1 and Year 2 classes.
