Finally, we said good-bye to Catherine Duerden-Blackburn who after 22 years of loyal and devoted service to St. George's and its students, has resigned her post and will be returning to the UK with her husband Chris.
Famed for her excellent teaching, her weather forecasting and her wonderful sense of humour, Catherine will be greatly missed by her colleagues and students alike.
| As a leaving present and token of our esteem, Catherine was serenaded by the "staff band", given a photo album of pictures recording her time here and officially presented by Mrs Zund with a named pillar in the newly inaugurated "Henge". | ![]() |
