The Creative Arts Competition

Probably the most difficult of the Inter-House events for the competitors! How exactly do you co-ordinate the efforts of 5 different artists, who are of different ages and who may not even speak the same language and get them to produce in just 2 short hours a winning composition on the given theme?  Oh just one more thing - they get one day's prior notice of the theme!!!

One would imagine that this would be an impossibility but on Thursday the 20th of June the 15 artists concerned showed that miracles were indeed possible and beautiful miracles at that!

Congratulations to the Diana House team of Liz Abernethy, Zoe Jellicoe, Maryam Hayatu Deen, Serena Cutter, Vivianne Loopuyt and Konomi Yamanaka whose composition is pictured below.

Congratulations to the Atalanta House team of Andrew Shaw, Saki Koike, Angela Corlett, Angela Hitchens and Jethro Lawrence for their fine effort pictured below.

Heartiest congratulations go to the winning Minerva team of Helena Aboutidze, Valeriya Ivashchenko, Katya Ivashchenko, Aya Baeshean and Shahrinaz Shah pictured below with their winning composition reflecting 75 Years of St. George's.

New Arrivals

Congratulations to Mr Jon Katz, Head of Diana House and to his wife Susan on the birth of their daughter, Melodie Elise who was born on the 3rd of June weighing in at 3.4 kg.
