75 Years of St George's Summer Party

Take yourself back to the 1920's and you'll have a good idea about the sights and sounds you would have encountered on the night of the 31st of May when St. George's held its themed Summer barbeque. The theme for the occasion, "the 1920's", reflecting the era when St. George's was founded, proved to be a great success with both students and staff who came up with some excellent costumes for the occasion.

Superb decorations for the evening were provided courtesy of the Art department: Mrs Suzie Mueller, Mrs Nikki Jupp and their students.  After an excellent barbeque supper the fancy dress competition took place, followed by some wacky entertainment and finally a disco. Thanks to everyone who made this evening such a pleasant one.

Well I guess if you want people to join in ... you've got to set an example .... ok ... staff that's more than enough now!!!!!

Hosts and compares for the evening - Head of Atalanta House Mr Steve Shaw, Head of Minerva House Miss Darina Hickey and Head of Diana House Mr Jon Katz.

The judges for the fancy dress competition: Mr Tim Jupp, Mrs Nikki Jupp and Mr Adam Bawden.
