When we went to Geneva we had a football tournament. St. Georges school had two teams, one team had 6 players and the other team had 5 players. The first match was exciting and St. George’s (team 1) won 5 to zero!  We won the second match and got into the quarter finals straight away. St. George’s 2 had one player short but did good. Then we had lunch and it was the best ham and cheese sandwiches in the world! Then it was St. Georges’ 1 vs. St. George’s 2, very exciting. One player said it was a hand ball because we were used to referring ourselves. St. George’s 1 won the match, 4 to 1. Then it was the semi-finals and St. George’s 2 had a hard match. It was the match for 3^rd place, unfortunately they lost. St. George’s 1 were in the final! They were against CDL and they were very good. Near the beginning of the match CDL scored. 

After we scored a good shot. There was a devastating shot at the left-bottom of the goal, fortunately it deflected off a player and almost went in, but, the goalie blocked it with his foot, phew! Then we scored a goal. After there was a hard shot from CDL and bounced off the back of the goal, but it was too quick and the referee didn’t see it so it didn’t count. Then we scored another goal, then after a few minutes the whistle went and we celebrated like we had won the world cup! Afterwards we claimed our trophy and went back to school in a good mood!
