New Member of Staff

Welcome to Mr Andrew (Andy) Britnell, Tutor in Minerva House, who has replaced Mr Tim Jupp as Teacher of Geography.  Mr Britnell has had extensive experience as a Geography teacher in the UK and the USA and has recently been the Assistant Director of Slapton Ley Field Centre in Devon, UK. We wish Mr Britnell a long and happy stay at St. George's.

Engagement

Congratulations to Miss Kathryn Beckett, Tutor in Minerva House on her recent engagement to Mr Duncan Sanford.  Miss Beckett will be getting married later this year.

House Events

Atalanta took the honours once again in the Inter-House Football and Volleyball competitions held this term.  They also won the Tidiness with Minerva House winning the Dragon Shield for this term. 

The following students were awarded with a certificate for earning the most Dragons in their year group for their House.

Minerva took the overall honours in the Inter-House Play competition, directed by Katya Ivashchenko and Emma Milsted, and also won the Best Actor category (Brandon Bakus) and Best Set.  Diana  House won the award for Best Programme, designed by Ineke Koopmans, Christine Li and Midori Kurokawa and the Best Actress award (Eline Pauwels).
