Making Dream Catchers with Mr Gillan

In History this term Year 8 have been studying Native Americans. As part of their investigations into beliefs, students made "dream catchers" a common feature for many tribes to protect children from evil spirits.  These students should all have sweet dreams!

French Film Club

Winter is not always fun: days are shorter and evenings can sometimes be long and very dark.   This term, every three weeks, a group of boarders welcomed Mme. Bodenmann on to first floor to watch a movie in French.

The atmosphere was very relaxed and we all enjoyed drinking a nice cup of tea and eating delicious biscuits while practising our French!

The following day, a “French Table” was set at lunch in order to discuss the movie.

Student favourites included:

Un film passionnant: “Carnets de Voyage”
Un acteur drôle: Gérard Depardieu dans Bodu
Un film bouleversant: L’esquive

Year 10 Trip to Berne

On Wednesday the first of March, students in Years 9, 10 and the Art students in Year 12 went to the Paul Klee Museum in Berne.  Let's hear it from some of the students from the Year 10 German class as to how the day went.

Ausflug Nach Bern

Wann? Mittwoch, den 1. März

Wetter?

Was?
