The TES English Newsday which took place on Thursday, the 16th of March 2006, proved to be an exciting and challenging experience for all its participants. Let's hear directly from the Editor, Victoria Di Napoli about how the day went ... "The day started off smoothly with everybody on time or even early! We were able to get on quickly and efficiently without any delays. The editors organised their teams so that everybody had a job to do and was working. As we all got down to work time seemed to fly by. Then before we knew it, it was already time for break. As time went by we saw and solved the flaws in our work with everybody conferring with each other for help. Everybody seemed settled in the team effort. Although some became slightly irritated as they were constantly asked for guidance on technical or computer problems. Unexpectedly lunch came, with some people not even started on their page! In the afternoon, everyone was now working at full speed, trying frantically to get the work done. As time seemed to be at a bare minimum we printed off our pages to get a glance at the finished product and make the necessary amendments. In the end everything was successful thanks to all the editors, the great and hardworking Newsday team and Ms Eastham, who was there by our sides guiding us the whole was through the newspaper experience.
