As part of Year 5 Literacy, the children do a topic on Hot Air Balloons. During this time they look at all aspects of hot air ballooning and do a series of Literacy related activities on the theme. Rick and Mike, who were on route to the Château-d'Oex Balloon festival, came to school and showed the children how to put a balloon up. All this took place on the field and the children were absolutely fascinated. |
