| Here is a brief flashback of
the Spring Term events from Madame Chambovey ...
"We began the term with Mimosa
selling where Aya, Rani and Maria Esteve turned out to be excellent
flower sellers, selling 580 fr worth of Mimosa in one day. The Balloon Launch, held on the 3rd of March proved to be a very exciting day. The sky over St. George's was filled with lots of colourful dots. The tags have already started to come back, one from Algeria and others from the South of France. All forms did very well with their fund-raising this term but a special well done must go to Year 13 who raised 830 fr. 3,000 fr was donated this term to Global Harmony. This money will be invested in their Primary School project in Trinidad. 900 fr was donated to the Mimosa organisation and 2000 fr was donated to Cregg House in Sligo, Ireland where Miss Hickey's nephew Conor is a patient. Next term we will welcome the elderly people from Burier who always enjoy their afternoon at St. George's. In addition we look forward to the fund-raising Fashion Show being organised by some of the students in Year 13. |
