House Appointments

In January of 2002, Miss Darina Hickey was appointed Head of Minerva House.  Diana House are still looking for the appropriate transfer fee!!!

In January 2002, several new appointments were made on the Staff of St. George's:

Mr Tim Jupp replaced Mr Roger Fay as a Teacher of Geography and Tutor in Minerva House, while his wife, Mrs Nikkie Jupp, joined the Art Department and the Diana House team of Tutors.  

In January 2002, Mr Adam Bawden joined the Science Department, replacing Mrs Caroline Fay and has joined Atalanta House as a tutor. Miss Kathryn Beckett, teacher of Japanese, EFL and Sociology, who joined the staff in September 2001, has been appointed as a Tutor in Minerva House. 

We wish the new members of staff a long and happy career at St. George's.

Inter-House Events

Atalanta were well and truly knocked off their perch this term in Inter-House events, much to the delight and excitement of the other Houses.  Honours were shared pretty evenly among the Houses with Minerva taking the Inter-House Skiing and Football events, Atalanta taking the Volleyball and Diana House taking the Unihoc and the Inter House Art Competition.  Well done to all those who took part and the supporters who cheered on their Houses so enthusiastically.
