New House Staff
Welcome to Mr. David Chapuis who has replaced Madame Françoise Marabotto in the French Department and who has joined the Diana House Tutors. Mr. Chapuis joined St. George's at the beginning of January 2001 and we hope that he will enjoy working at St. George's for many years to come.

Competitions
Inter House events this term were to include Volleyball, Football, Unihoc and Skiing. As luck would have it, snow conditions in the later part of the term did not allow the Houses to dispute the skiing event but competition remained fierce in each of the other events.
In all 3 of the other events, Atalanta House emerged the winners. Despite valiant attempts from Diana and Minerva ... Atalanta took the crown in Volleyball, Football and Unihoc.
Congratulations to Mr Shaw and the Atalanta clan ... come on the yellows and the blues ... don't let Atalanta make it a clean sweep in the Creative Arts Competition this term.
Congratulations
Congratulations to Miss Susie Hershkorn, Head of Art, who at the end of the Spring Term announced her forthcoming marriage in August 2001 and to Miss Catherine Duerden, Director of Studies and Head of Geography, who is getting married in July 2001. We wish them both every happiness.
