Parents & Alumni Support School

Back Next

The school has benefited over the years from the remarkable generosity of parents and alumni. The support continues and we are delighted to announce some recent donations and gifts which have further improved the school facilities.

Thank you to Lady Kleinwort and her daughter, Selina (‘97), for their generous donation which has allowed us to create a playground for the infants in the junior department. I hope they will come back next Autumn to inaugurate the playground officially, when Selina returns from her trip down the Amazon!

Thank you to Mr. Hiranand whose donation allowed us to begin updating our computers, in memory of his father, a wonderful gentleman I was pleased to meet at Priya’s graduation. Now three computer centres are available in the school for students. One is linked to Internet allowing each boarder to have her own e-mail address.

Thank you also to Mr & Mrs Koike who presented us with a beautiful set of books on Japan for the school library.

Thank you to Noura M. Bin Moammar (’99) for the silver dagger inscribed with the name of the school, not to be used on any student breaking the school rules, I’m sure!
