| In September
several new staff joined St. George's. Firstly Mrs Carolyn Steinson as
Principal, replacing Mrs Gaye Zund. Mrs Steinson holds a B.Sc Joint
Honours Degree in Pure Mathematics and Language Studies (French) from the
University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology, a Post
Graduate Certificate of Education from Bristol University and a
Certificate in Advanced Professional Studies in Education from Bristol
Polytechnic. She has over 21 years' experience in education, 17 of
which were spent in International schools in Luxembourg, Germany, Spain
and Portugal.
Carolyn Steinson, Principal Joining us also is Mr Mike Gillan, who replaces Mrs Caroline Haas. Mr Gillan, who will be teaching History and Geography, hails from Cheshire and has taught in both Shropshire and Lancashire in the UK.
Mr Mike Gillan Mr Edmund Steinson has also joined St. George's as a teacher of Physics and General Science. Trained in England, Mr Steinson has had over 25 years of international school experience in England, the West Indies, Luxembourg, Spain, Germany and Portugal.
Mr Edmund Steinson Joining the Administration staff is Miss Daphné Fellay who will be working in the school office and the accounts department.
