Welcome to our New Members of Staff
Several new members of staff joined the academic team in September 2000.

We would like to welcome to the Music Department
Mr Jeremy Mannings as Head of Music. Mr Mannings
who joined us from a school in Saudi Arabia is a classical
pianist and singer who likes to dabble in jazz and popular
music.

Welcome too, to Miss Kirsty Hammal who
teaches English and Drama and joined us from a
school in Stockport near Manchester.

Joining Miss Hammal in the English Department
is Miss Sonia Eastham who has been appointed as
Head of English and will also teach Psychology.
Miss Eastham joined us from a school in the North
of England.
Joining the French Department is Miss Frédèrique
Aminot a native of Brittany who has taught in a
school on the Isle of Wight for the past 3 years.

Welcome also to Mr Roger Fay who worked previously
at a school on the Isle of Wight as Head of Geology for
a number of years.
Joining the EFL Department are Mrs Laura Ziska (pictured right) recently arrived from Chicago, USA and Miss Jacqueline Rainsley (pictured left) who joins us from a school in the Midlands, UK and who will teach EFL and German.

We wish all our new staff a long and happy stay at St.
George's

In addition, we would like to extend a warm welcome to Ms
Vicky
Perbos, who has been appointed as Principal's Secretary and
Head of Admissions. Before joining St. George's, Ms Perbos
worked in a private clinic on the Riviera.

Welcome also to Miss Jane Bolton who has been appointed as
Matron and who will work with Mrs Barbara Fletcher looking
after our Boarding Students. Mrs Fletcher, who worked at
St. George's for a number of years in the early 90's returned
to us after a short leave of absence in the UK. Welcome also
to Miss Bolton's dog Zoe, who has become a firm favourite
with the Boarders.
