Nativity Performance
The JD's Annual Nativity Performance took place at 7 pm on the 12th of December 2000. It was a resounding success enjoyed by parents, staff and children alike.
On the night of the performance, the Infants (Pre-Reception, Reception, 1 and 2) performed the Nativity whilst the Juniors (Years 3 to 6) performed a "Rock and Roll Christmas". The children had great fun performing the Rock and Roll Christmas story. In the story, Santa Claus feels that he is losing his popularity with the children and so he changes his image to be "The Claus". In the end, it is the children who ask him to change back into "good old Santa Claus".
The Infants repeated their performance of the Nativity for the Final Assembly to the delight of the secondary school students.
